The fact that you're traveling farther (rather than within driving range) may even inspire you to enjoy yourselves a little more. I always miss my daughter like crazy when we go away, but she seems to do really well every time she stays .... I want to enjoy my children but it is so hard to have the energy to take care of them, let alone enjoy them the way they deserve, when we are all so tired. Once again, thanks for caring enough about sleep-deprived parents to do this. I am certain that whoever wins .... All in all, we've been allowing them to develop the self soothing skills on their own time, rather than forcing them to do it.
